Standard delivery is FREE on all orders. Your order will be delivered by Royal Mail Special Delivery 1st Class. A signature will be required on receipt of the parcel.

1. Delivery Notifications

You will receive an email at the address you have specified when your order has been despatched – this email contains the tracking number so you can track it online right to your door.

2. Delivery timescales

The delivery time scale is specified on the product page to indicate when you will receive your order.  If your order is placed before 3 pm (subject to passing necessary checks), it will be shipped the same day via Royal Mail First Class Special Delivery. Orders placed before 3pm will to be received the following day (excluding Sundays and Bank Holidays). Next day delivery applies automatically for free to all UK orders. Orders received just after 4pm are often despatched the same day although next day delivery is not guaranteed.

Orders placed before 3pm Monday-Thursday are guaranteed for next day (excluding bank holidays).

Orders made on Friday before 3pm will be posted to you via Royal Mail First Class Special Delivery, however, delivery is not guaranteed for Saturday.

Items ordered on a Saturday or Sunday will be delivered on Tuesday (except after a bank holiday).

Whittles is currently not open on bank and public holidays. Orders received on these days will be despatched the next working day with the delivery timescales as above.

Due to the nature of the watches and jewellery which we sell Whittles operates a strict fraud screening process and therefore we can only offer a next-day service if the order is validated by our network easily. (e.g. it can only be delivered to the billing address registered to the card or for V12 payments delivery MUST be to the same address used on the finance application/agreement.

While 99% of UK locations are valid for next day delivery, there are a few remote locations which are not covered by the next day delivery service.

2.1 International deliveries

We do NOT offer delivery of goods to overseas locations.

3. Postage method

We will post your order via Royal Mail First Class Special Delivery. Usually this means that your parcel will be delivered the day after we have dispatched it. A signature WILL be required on receipt of your order.

4. Missed deliveries

If you are not in to receive the delivery at the time the delivery is attempted, the delivery company will leave you a card to notify you of the missed delivery attempt.  This will allow you to either telephone them to arrange a redelivery at a more convenient time or collect it from your local sorting office.  Due to security reasons, all items require a signature.

If for any reason the item is returned to us (e.g. incorrect address specified), will attempt to inform you immediately by email as soon we receive the item.  From this point forth, you will be given a choice whether you wish us to re-dispatch the item.  Please note that for items that were undelivered through fault of the consumer, Whittles reserve the right to charge for outward postage fees if re-dispatch is required.

5. Late deliveries or despatch

Although Whittles are able to ship almost every order in the specified delivery timescale, in rare circumstances our administration capacity can be exceeded and cause a delay of one extra day.  Whittles regret that this situation can occur occasionally, this an unfortunate situation which is naturally associated with buying online, however this only occurs in rare situations and, should this occur, your order is marked for urgent delivery the following day. The other circumstance which may cause a delay is when the delivery service itself (Royal Mail) has a problem.  This, again, is a rare situation but is unfortunately beyond our control.  In these situations, Whittles will do our very best to take responsibility for the situation and ensure that your order is delivered as quickly as possible.

5.1 Consequential loss for late deliveries

As delivery is free and Whittles do not provide financial compensation to cover consequential losses, e.g. Time taken off work to receive deliveries, or if the item was ordered as a gift and it didn’t arrive on time.
